The signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Griffith University was performed successfully. The cooperation between the two Universities opens up diverse study opportunities and attractive scholarships for Global Pathways students.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of UEH, there were Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Ha Minh Quan - Dean of UEH International School of Business (ISB); MSc. Phan Nhu Minh - Deputy Dean of ISB; Mr. Vo Duc Hoang Vu - Deputy Head of UEH Department of Research Management - International Cooperation.
On behalf of Griffith University, there were Prof. Sarah Todd - Vice Chancellor; Mr. Rick Chapman - Marketing Manager; Michelle Hoang Walker - Admissions Manager for Southeast Asia.

Marking the journey of long-term cooperation
Sharing the goal of this cooperation, Prof. Sarah Todd - Vice Chancellor of Griffith University - stated that the signing ceremony is a step marking the long-term cooperation journey between Griffith University and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City through the Griffith Global Pathways program. She confirmed that the number of Vietnamese students studying at Griffith University is increasing. Vietnamese students are very good at communicating and participating in university activities as well as adapting to the local culture. Ms. Sarah emphasized that students studying at Griffith University are supported with many internship and work opportunities before and after graduation.

In addition, Ms. Michelle Hoang Walker - Admissions Manager for Southeast Asia - gave some advice to Griffith Global Pathways students to enroll in the future: “Griffith University has more than 200 different groups and many free extra-curricular activities. Therefore, beyond study time, students should participate in the above activities to have the opportunity to get acquainted with many other international students from more than 130 different countries. They are able to build a “friendship network” around the world.”

Griffith Global Pathways Program
Griffith Global Pathways is a model of studying abroad following the current global trend. Participating in the Griffith Global Pathways program, students will have a period of 1-2 years to practice and hone their knowledge and skills in Vietnam. After that, you continue to study and receive a Bachelor’s degree at Griffith University, Australia.
Griffith Global Pathways currently has three main models: 1+2, 1.5+1.5, 2+1. Students can flexibly choose the model in accordance with their study abroad purpose. Griffith University owns a diversity of valuable scholarships exclusively for Global Pathways students as follows:
● 20% scholarship (annual, automatic, unlimited): for Stage 1 GPA students of 6.7 or higher.
● 25% scholarship (annual, automatic, unlimited number): for Stage 1 GPA students of 7.5 or higher.
● 50% scholarship (annual, self-application through Griffith's website). Applicable to students with excellent academic performance in Stage 1.
