On July 28, 2023, School of Banking, UEH College of Business held the 3rd SRS Seminar 2023 with the theme: “CBDCS in economics and finance and future research directions” with the presentation of the speaker: Associate Professor. Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir has been teaching at the University of Leeds since February 2022. Prior to that, he was an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Huddersfield (July 2020) and has been a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Leeds Business School since mid-May 2012. As a scholar and publisher of many prestigious journals, he demonstrates a strong and profound interest in innovative pedagogy, teaching and academic research. Currently, he is researching issues related to macroeconomic policymaking and issues around post-COVID-19 financial stability in many countries around the world.
This SRS2023 attracted nearly 50 lecturers, academicians and PhD candidates to participate in a combined format of online and offline.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir focused on presenting and sharing the key issues:
The presentation was very lively with many questions exchanged from the lecturers, academicians and PhD students attending in person and online. In general, the majority of opinions discussed policy implications and methods of CDBC construction in Vietnam as well as in the world.
This was a regular activity under the School of Banking Scientific Talk Series 2023 to create a forum for academic exchanges between UEH lecturers and researchers and especially to update new research directions in the field of economics and finance and banking.
