In 2021, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City added a new enrollment method for students who graduated from foreign high schools.
On the morning of February 18th, in responding to an interview by Tuoi Tre Online, Assoc Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Head of Training Department of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) - said, in the context of limited international traffic and the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the choices and decisions of students who have graduated from foreign high schools will undoubtedly change.
"Therefore, UEH has launched a new enrollment approach to diversify the methods and subjects of admission, increasing the opportunities to study at the university for candidates who love and have a dream to study here. This new enrollment method is the school's companionship with the community and society to help learners not be interrupted," said Assoc Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao.
This selection method is aimed at students who are attending foreign high school training programs at international schools in Vietnam (according to the list recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training) or students who have studied at foreign high schools, now looking forward to entering University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City to continue their studies.
Admission requirements are: students must have graduated from foreign high schools and have international certificates eligible for admission such as the IB Certificate (International Baccalaureate), A-Level Certificate of the Cambridge International Examinations A-Level, UK.
BTEC Certificate (Business & Technical Education Council, British Council for Business and Technical Education), Level 3 Extended Diploma and other international certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test, USA), and ACT (American College Testing) with the specific criteria and grades that the school will announce clearly in the admission proposal.
