On October 12, 2023, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) was honored to welcome the delegation of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to visit, exchange and work at UEH.
Welcoming the Consulate General of India, on the side of UEH, there was the presence of Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phong Nguyen - Head of Scientific Management and International Cooperation. On the part of the Indian Consulate General, UEH was honored to welcome Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City and members of the Consulate General delegation.
Overview of the working session between UEH and the Consulate General of India
Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH shared: "UEH always values cooperative relationships with international partners in general and with India in particular. Currently, UEH has restructured into a multidisciplinary university with 3 member colleges. This formation and restructuring are valuable and have profound significance for UEH's sustainable development strategy over the past 50 years and its development orientation in the upcoming time. At UEH, we respect differences, value the diversity of culture and personality of each individual and partner, and are always ready to share and actively support international students to integrate and learn in the best way. I hope Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi and other delegates from the Consulate General of India will support UEH in conducting research for the community and promoting educational cooperation between UEH and Indian educational organizations and universities, as well as organizing visits, exchanges, and developing exchanges between the two countries.”

The meeting was an important milestone in strengthening the relationship between the two countries, as well as promoting educational partnership and cultural exchange. Thereby, it opens up more opportunities for extensive cooperation in the future, bringing benefits to both sides and contributing to the development of a close relationship between the two countries.
