University of Economics Ho Chi Minh: Cooperation and Sustainable Development

The period 2021 - 2030 is an important stage in the long-term development journey of the university with the strategy: to become a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University with an academic reputation in Asia with 03 member colleges: UEH College of Business (COB); UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG); UEH College of Technology and Design (CTD); International School of Business (ISB) and UEH Vinh Long Campus, at the same time, promoting the strategy of university internationalization, building extensive cooperation relationships in the fields of training, scientific research and knowledge transfer with more than 125 educational institutions from 73 countries in the world, especially strategic relationships with universities, educational institutions, and businesses in Korea.

Specifically:

UEH was honored to receive the strategic advice of Dr. Park Young June - Former Vice Minister of the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy and recognized the role of Honorary Rector of UEH College of Technology and Design.

UEH and the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) have launched the training program Korea - Vietnam Global Advanced Management - KVAM to help Vietnamese enterprises become the most successful companies in the world based on the experience of Korean corporations and UEH's reputation for teaching economics and management, at the same time, implementing the Master's program in Smart and Innovation Urban Management - Advanced Operating System, which is a combination of training and certification between UEH and Handong Global University.

UEH and Kwangwoon University signed an agreement to cooperate in developing scientific research, teaching, and international projects of the two universities, especially developing a local support project to promote the development of Ho Chi Minh City and cities in Southeast Asia.

Together with annual educational and research cooperation activities in fields such as smart city development, planning, urban development, AI, Robotics, and sustainability with Handong Global University, University of Seoul, Seoul National University, Sungkyunkwan University, Kangwon University; Media Design field with Kyungsung University…

In particular, towards the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, UEH cooperated with Korean partners to organize the New York Classical Music Society Asia Classical Concert in 2 days from December 8 to 9, Beyond the Forest, an exclusive Media Art exhibition with world-famous artworks, "Forest of cage" by famous artist Nam June Paik and works by young Korean artists supported by the Ulsan Art Museum.
