According to the QS World Ranking by subject 2024, UNPAD ranks #301-350. According to the QS Asian University Ranking particularly, UNPAD ranked #38 and #7 in Indonesia (currently, Indonesia has 150 public universities and about 3000 private universities).
Attending the meeting, UEH representatives were Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - UEH President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - UEH Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Trang - Acting Vice-Rector of UEH College of Business; Dr. Dinh Thi Thu Hong - Vice Rector of UEH College of Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of UEH College of Economics, Law and Governance; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Thuy Anh - Vice Rector of UEH College of Technology and Design; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies (JABES); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tien Khai - Head of Department of Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development (QACD); leaders and members of the Department of Research - Development and Global Engagement (RDGE) and those of UEH schools that have signed MoU with FEB (UNPAD). An overview of the meeting
Speaking at the event's opening, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh shared his joy when welcoming guests from UNPAD Indonesia and emphasized the importance of the strategic cooperative relationship between the two universities as well as demonstrating the commitment of both sides to strengthening cooperation, training, and research in Southeast Asia. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh also emphasized UEH's commitment to spreading knowledge, connecting globally, and promoting a sustainable culture in higher education to become a prestigious University in the region and the world.

From UNPAD's side, Prof. Dr. Rina Indiastuti acknowledged the long-standing relationship between the two countries, Vietnam and Indonesia, and especially the cooperative relationship in teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and community connection between the two institutions recently. At the same time, the university president also expressed her desire to further strengthen cooperation between the two universities in promoting educational cooperation in the Southeast Asia region.

During this visit, the leadership team of the Faculty of Economics and Business continued the afternoon discussion session on the same day with Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Editor-in-Chief of JABES and his colleagues in co-organizing the joint Asian Conference on Business and Economic Studies (6th ACBES - 8th GARCOMBS - 2nd ICONICS) in Bali, Indonesia this August, 2024.
Additionally, FEB (UNPAD) also had a meeting to implement cooperative activities with School of Banking and School of Accounting, UEH College of Business; School of Economics, UEH College of Economics, Law and Governance; and School of Political Studies, UEH such as lecture exchange, one-semester student exchange, organizing a summer semester/program for students in Southeast Asia, and incredibly detailed planning for training and research collaborative projects at all levels this year. PostGraduate School (PGS UNPAD) also signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the School of Tourism (COB) to promote teaching cooperation and develop sustainable tourism in Southeast Asia on this occasion.
