SMD students had the opportunity to interact with international professors from many countries listed as Japan, France, Indonesia, and Taiwan. Together with Yunlin University students, they participated in preparing products and displaying them at the exhibition along with many interesting academic and cultural exchange activities. Especially at this conference, SMD students were also able to present their research projects, contributing to solving practical problems related to Vietnamese Culture in the Project 1 module: Culture and Arts.
Representing K48 students of the School of Media Design, student Pham Thi Thao Quyen (from the group of Hua Thanh Ha Tung, Nguyen Gia Sang, Cao Quynh Nghi and Pham Thi Thao Quyen) demonstrated the results of her group's project on the topic "The “wife-pulling” custom - Is it cultural or harmful?": "This is one of the big milestones in my personal development path. This is not the first time I have presented in English; it is probably the first time I have discussed a controversial Vietnamese custom with international friends. The article received a lot of feedback, discussion, and opinions from Taiwanese lecturers. I am totally happy because I was able to convey the message we would like to create a bond in group discussing to find the best solution for the project."

This was an opportunity for Taiwanese and Vietnamese students to work together in groups and visit religious culture and local cuisine in Baigang Ancient Town, Liu Chongxi Village etc. This activity not only allowed students to directly experience the local culture, but it also trained their ability to initiate ideas, work in teams, and communicate cross-culturally.
