The Mystique Of Luxury Brands Conference – MLB 2023

Following the success of organizing international conferences in countries such as Japan, Singapore, Korea, Australia,... College of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Luxury Brandings Research Center, Curtin University (Australia) co-organized the international conference "Mystique Of Luxury Brands - MLB 2023" on November 9-10, 2023 at Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. More than 200 researchers from 15 different countries attended the conference.

UEH Successfully Achieving the 25th Euréka Award 2023

On November 24, 2023, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Thu Duc Campus), the 25th Euréka Award took place. The student group from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) excellently received 5 awards in the fields of Economics and Planning and Architecture and Construction.

Implementing the policy of internationalization in training and research, UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG-UEH) has worked and exchanged academic experiences with lecturers and researchers from different countries. From November 16, 2023 - November 18, 2023, CELG-UEH met and worked with Professor Mindy Chen-Wishart at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Former Dean of Oxford Law Faculty, currently an honorary professor at Oxford University, who would share the results of her research and teaching experience in law.

Signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between UEH College of Business and Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank

On November 24, 2023, UEH College of Business held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) for the period 2023 - 2026, opening a period of extensive and comprehensive cooperation in many fields such as Awarding VPBank Talent Scholarships, supporting student internships, organizing visits to the bank, organizing seminars/workshops, thematic activities, career guidance and skill development, connecting and implementing project research and other training support activities that are the strengths of the two sides in each period.

In-depth workshop on Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) organized by UEH College of Economics, Law andGovernment and EfD-Vietnam

During two days November 3-4, 2023, UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (UEH–CELG) and EfD - Vietnam organized an in-depth workshop on Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) with the participation of 32 researchers from many universities and research institutes.

On November 17, 2023, at campus B - 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, District 10, the signing ceremony of an important Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the VietTESOL Association took place. This ceremony was an important event marking the efforts of both units in organizing the VietTESOL International Conference 2024.

Promoting Learner Autonomy in English Language Learning (Part 2)

The idea of student autonomy has gained significant traction in the modern era with the introduction of eLearning on LMS, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic when educational institutions must switch to online learning. The development of learner autonomy strategies would be beneficial in an EFL environment like Vietnam where students depend heavily on teachers.

"Australian" learning experience for UEH students

On November 6, 2023, a class session entitled "Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation" presented by Dr. Paul Finn from the University of Sydney was held with the participation of 35 students majoring in International Business and Logistics Supply Chain Management. This was an activity within the framework of the educational cooperation agreement between the University of Sydney and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).
